Our Story
After years of navigating the demanding world of social work, I found myself in New Hampshire in 2021, searching for a way to decompress. The pandemic had taken its toll, and I needed an outlet—something tangible and peaceful. That's when I started experimenting with soy wax and toxin-free fragrance oils, creating non-toxic candles that offered a much-needed sense of calm. The business took shape, a small, independent venture born from a desire for wellness and a creative escape.
In 2023, I made the move to Vermont. My business was still a one-person operation, but the demands of a growing company, combined with my full-time social work career, were starting to feel overwhelming. Then I met Emilio. A police officer great with people and a knack for connection, he was the social heart of our community, while I had the steady, methodical hands for the business. We quickly realized our skills were the perfect match. He brought an engaging and personable approach to the business, while I focused on the careful production, from scent blending to marketing.
It was an unexpected partnership—the social worker and the cop—but it just worked. We decided to join forces, combining our unique expertise to grow the company. Now, as co-owners, we're building something more than just a candle business. We're creating products that reflect our shared belief in the importance of finding peace and tranquility, bringing a little bit of light to people's homes, one candle at a time.
